Posted July 7, 201410 yr Like the looks...any one bagging and care to share their thoughts on feel, sound, distance and playability? Thanks
July 7, 201410 yr Craig has been bagging one for a while, might want to ping him. Very long and forgiving. The sound/feel is a little different than the 435 or TRPX (a tad more metallic but I hear much improved over the older Crazy/George Spirits 450)
July 7, 201410 yr Author so there are 2 versions of the Crazy 450 thanks mp Edited July 7, 201410 yr by yourpressed
July 7, 201410 yr Anytime, yes, two versions. An older one I believe designed and made by George Spirits (launched in 2010 maybe) and the new one (launched in 2013) designed and made specifically by Crazy.
July 8, 201410 yr This one is a significant improvement over the original 450. The original 450 was a dud. I dont think it is a monster long head like the 435 or the Maxima, but it is not too far behind. It is as long as these sometimes, but not consistantly. It is certainly in the next group distance wise. Where it wins is its forgiveness. Hard to hit a really bad drive with it. I still play it as my Driver of choice as, for me it is the longest and straightest that I have. Easily. Sound, well cant say anything good about it. Its pretty ordinary and loud. Feel, well not so good there either. To be honest, I cant see anything knocking this out of my bag in the near future.
July 11, 201410 yr Just as a matter of interest, WHY was the original 450 a dud?? Just interested because I like the look of it and have been considering a purchase.
