Posted July 23, 201410 yr So I have come across these quite a fair amount on the various golf blogs on ameblo; Jean Baptiste Driver designed by gracieux art design (nishizawa co. ltd.) and produced I believe by Kamui Works made from Premium (beta logo) titanium. They also have some incredible looking putters, I mean real pieces of art that are full milled with some nice finish options. here are some various pics; Edited July 23, 201410 yr by 604_skyline
July 23, 201410 yr seriouslY Jean baptiste? i don't get the excessive verbage. guess i am not the target market. putters remind me of my first custom CL putter
July 23, 201410 yr Um....wow...I'm really at a loss for words here, positive or negative. Not feeling the putters at all. The drivers look like like they can be customized in some form or way, so that's good. Don't mind all of the verbiage though. It's kind of eclectic in weird/cool way.
July 23, 201410 yr I agree with C (welcome back buddy btw:), verbiage seems a little much, almost pretentious IMO. It's definitely a kamui works km-200 underneath (minus the air tho?), and I think the kamui looks better with understated flare. Looks like an entire bible verse was stamped into the sole! July 23, 201410 yr That's exactly what this is, It's the Kamui Works driver with a busier sole in a new finish for more money. The putters while nice in shape are busy and way overpriced. Not what i consider a true brand, they need their own designs.
July 23, 201410 yr They also need a new name..A brand named (I guess) after one of Napoleons' Marshals and later king XIV if Sweden? Just a bit weird, I DON'T understand this fascination in Japan and also in China with all these Euro/Old World sounding names Edited July 23, 201410 yr by Vegaman
October 4, 20159 yr Sorry bringing a defunct post back to life but ... I was reading about the brand which lately has been in some of the Japanese Magazines (i.e. Even...); they say that the finish works as a protection to the titanium; they even show some pictures after 1,000 balls hit (still looks like new). Is it true (for anyone who owns or have seem the thing in real life?)?

This finish also known as DLC or diamond like finish is very hard feeling, sounding, and while durable it does scratch on putters or irons. it's also very glossy and reflective in sunlight. I've seen and hit this finish several times.
