Posted July 28, 201410 yr Last year I visited the Maldives in the North and South and it ranks as one of my favorite trips ever. What I enjoyed most was that there is nothing to do so you really have no choice but to slow the brain. The islands we were on took no more than 15 minuted to walk around entirely. Very few people around. My biggest passion, yes even more than golf is salt water corals and this has been the best diving spot I have ever been, the south had all the corals, the north had the whale sharks and giant manta's. Very few American's in the Maldives because of the the distance. We did a couple that took 52 hours to get there. yet at the same time our expat friends living in thailand got there in 6 hours. Another highlight was while having drinks on the island I ran into a fellow TSG'er Vertigo88 on his honeymoon Such a nice guy! Enjoy the pics, if you ever go I can make some good recommendations! If your wondering why/how we travel so much we also have a company that does marketing for hotels such as Park Hyatt, Oberoi, and Four Seasons so they really hook it up, these trips are subsidized in many cases.
July 31, 201410 yr I spent honeymoon on Feb. Second time there, first time I was there in 1999 and it is a completely different place. Beautiful and relaxing, definitely worth the trip (~7~8hrs from Hong Kong). I had a GoPro with me but looking at your pics, these are Pro, mine just Go!
August 19, 201410 yr Great pictures. Definitely on my radar now. Do you get TSG'ers discounts on 4 Seasons accomodations?
