Posted August 21, 201410 yr Hi all, I am getting a pair of Gold's Factory Wedges and need some advice on the shaft. I currently play the Shimada K's Tour Lite (me thinks same thing as the green label just better looking as the information is printed on the shaft rather than the cheaper looking label) in my irons and wedges. I thought I might give the Shimada K's NW 110 wedge shaft a go. Anyone know what I can expect from the Shimada K's NW 110 against the Shimada K's Tour Lite ? Cheers Matthew Edited August 22, 201410 yr by mpuk
August 21, 201410 yr Gday mate Nice choice on the wedges. Ks tour light are quite stout but a very good shaft...still 110g for a lite version! Good dispersion, mid strong launch with V good feel. Tolerances on these shafts are very good, you wont need to spine these unless you want something different from the shaft. Definitely worth trying if the weight suits.
August 23, 201410 yr Author I'm interested to know what I can expect from the Shimada K's NW Wedge 110 against the Shimada K's Tour Lite (currently play) in 54 and 58* wedges ?
August 25, 201410 yr Author Anyone have peak height and spin comparison between the following; 1. Shimada K's Tour Lite (also known as Green Label Shimada Tour Lite) 2. Shimada K's NW Wedge 110 (also known as Green Label Shimada Wedge)
August 25, 201410 yr Are the K and non-K version the same? The prices are different: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/shafts-grips/steel-shafts#/?_=1&filter.brands=Shimada%20Shafts&page=1 Anyone have peak height and spin comparison between the following; 1. Shimada K's Tour Lite (also known as Green Label Shimada Tour Lite) 2. Shimada K's NW Wedge 110 (also known as Green Label Shimada Wedge)
August 25, 201410 yr Author I think so, the NW110 is the same weight as the Green Label Wedge and the NW120 is the same as the Wedge Black. Looks to me that the Shimada K's NW is good value for the same shaft ad the Green Label.
August 25, 201410 yr Did some research. My guess is that the Green Label (non K) are meant for export. The K version is meant for domestic Japan I.e. JDM.

August 25, 201410 yr Author I like the Shimada K's myself. The print on the shaft looks classier than the label. Hey Hutchy, So the Shimada K's Wedge NW 110 is spinner and probably lower flight. How does it compare to the DG Spinners ? Matthew
