You're right, they were great shafts. Iirc, the only thing I didn't like was that they were heavy compared to the same flex Ctpr.

yup

i rebuilt a 6 iron on firiday to test out, with the SP blue stiff in those callaway tour somehting or others, heads made for ernie...,

it was 446 gram as opposed to my monacco in the prgr idbl which was 438 i think...

thats a pretty big differnce.

equal heaviest set i have

anyway hit the first shot with it form 191 to 3 feet.

rang my builder and said buildthese immediatly

im using them for the champs!!!

id say use those shafts in endo forged cavity backs and they are unreal.

I love the heavy feel...when I need to step on them no issues straight as an arrow. And again I am placing $$ on you for club championship :tsg_smilie_laugh:

Possibly my favorite steel shaft of all time. I sure hope they didn't.

They were great when I used them. Last steel shaft I played before shifting to graphite.

Definitely my favorite steel shaft. I agree, being heavier allows me to step on it but confident it'll be straight and consistently hard boring ball flight, while still feeling ultra smooth.

Yes, I had them in my set before installing Nippon Modus 3 130 Stiff- amazing how much the Modus "feels" lighter however they are only 1 gram less weight. The balance point on the Modus is closer to the shaft butt. However, I do feel the much softer tip in the Modus. I'll be looking for some heads for the NSPB's, but with a lower center gravity to get the ball flighted quicker.
