TRPX Raytis FW shaft - any info?

Anyone happens to hit this shaft or has any info, pls share a bit. TSG, a blog or write-up about this shaft will be very appreciated.

My iron's shafts will be Zelos, MCI60, or I-6 so want FW shaft to be about 55-60g. FW80 is super good but I believe I'd gain some yards with lighter FW shaft. This Raytis FW shaft is a bit too light, but I love TRPX shafts and MSG FW is too heavy for me. Thanks.

I don't know much about this one but here is a chart showing what type of player it's designed for.

I would probably say go up 1-2 flexes as the media on the TRPX site shows a lady swinging it.

Hard to judge as it's supposedly good for players who have a tempo/transition in the middle of fast and slow.

Chris, you suggested Speeder FW shaft in another thread. Can you compare this shaft to Crazy FW80? FW80 is so good that I don't wanna change but would like to try lighter FW shafts. Thanks.

Hi Mark,

Don't change, the FW80 is outstanding imo but this Raytis is totally on the opposite side of the spectrum as it's lighter, much softer, for sure higher launching. What I do for the FW80 is order it in SR instead of my usual S, still stable yet a little longer and more feel, I also like the La Bomba graphics.

If you were to experiment with lighter FW shafts start with the Muso or if your a bit of a brand snob go TRPX Messenger FW, it is somewhat lighter.

Fujikura Speeder FW is also good, lots of weight options, easy to like specs, just easy to like and all around good but imo excels in no one area.

I fancy a Modart 16* going softer in the FW80 to R flex to see if I could control it and get even more feel and kick out of the shaft.

Following my FW shaft project, it's now done. Since FW80 doesn't have 5.9 flex, I tried a few and ended up with Crazy RyoDec Athlete FW shaft which really matches my swing.

Thanks Chris to upgrade to La Bomba for me. Got it built yesterday for the game today with Jobu and D. I had no regret I chose this shaft at all. Today on a par 5 hole, I hit my 3rd shot about 175 yards with Ryoma F shafted with this.
