jbird902
Hey guys I am going to send my Cameron CS proto beach in to Golds for a custom project. Two things I am undecided on and looking for some insight. 1) Go with the the horizontal PZ milling or the new PZ milling(want the best for ball roll and holding line) 2) Go with Teflon tour black finish or soft black If you can help out it is greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Edited January 15, 2015 by jbird902
needmoregolf
I love the horizontal PZ milling on my Golds, offers very true roll and holds a nice straight line without skips or hops. Pretty soft feel too, but not sure if it's the same feel as next gen. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with either though. I love the look of the horizontal which became my deciding factor with the way it worked with the rest of the putter. The soft black looks amazing but is subject to fade over time with wear. Not sure about the Teflon black, but I selected the black boron since i wanted more of a plating to stand the test of time. that being said, I will for sure one day go soft black on either a putter or iron set. Just my $0.02 Good luck and keep us posted. Edited January 15, 2015 by needmoregolf
+TourSpecGolfer
Both millings you can't go wrong with. Just an idea, try a shallow depth next gen PZ w/ black teflon and a nice paint theme. Teflon black is very durable and very black and nice looking overall so paint fill really stands out against it. akapur
I have had both types of milling and they are both great. The Next gen feels better for me, gets the ball rolling on line without to much "pop". The Soft black is very nice and elegant. I think the Teflon will be the next finish I try.
