I was going with the Modus 125, in X-Stiff. It weighs 129 grams. From my research, I would only lose about 1 swing weight point for every 9 grams in shaft reduction. Whereas every 1/2" adds 3 swing weight points, so it was the over length that was driving the swing weight, not necessarily the shaft.

If you give your specs to Chris, he'll send it to Labo Spec and they'll let you know what the swing weights will be. That's what he did for me, anyway.

That sounds right. I play +1/2" over Titleist standard which I think would be about 3/4" over Japanese std and in my epons they typically come out to d5 or higher. They'd probably have to reduce the iron head weight to get you down to D3.

Maybe TSG club works could port the heads

I should be good if I go 1/4 over standard based on what you're saying if I go with the Modus Tour 120.

Chris was able to get me taken care of and my new Irons should be here in about 4 weeks.

I have to thank Chris for doing what I think is almost unbelievable. I placed my order February 24th and today the Irons arrived to my house in Maryland. This was a custom order 4-PW 1/4 over standard with 2 tape wraps on the Tour Velvet grips.

11 days from the day I ordered to my from door!!!!!! Japan to Maryland USA.

I know anyone reading this already knows this but Chris and TourSpecGolf are outstanding!!

I was going to purchase the Kuro's and had my heart set on them, but since I need 3/4" over Japanese std, they wouldn't have been able to get the swing weight below D5, which is too heavy for me.

I went 1/4 " over with Nippon Modus3 Tour 120S and they came in at D3 and PW at D4. I'm a happy camper
