as a big onoff fan i must say :tsg_smiley_censored:

Are wedges the next big thing?

Callaway has introduced the new Phil Mickelson wedge, and I believe Muir has a wedge with the rake sole.

I'm always interested in a new wedge :tsg_smiley_drool:

looks similar to the Miura wedges (K-grind?) ...

KNuckle grind indeed. I like it

His k grind looks more friendly to open up...vs Miura K grind

What's with the frog?

What is with the frog, the grind looks good

frogs can leap to their target with deadly accuracy and tight dispersion

lol

Yes that must be it!

No word on specs or release yet.

That's an interest twist on the SW. Instead of opening up the 58* like some of us do for bunker, you use the 64* square and have the same result/effect of an open 58*. However I am just not sure about the 70*.

We will see, got them on the way.

70*??!! seems like it might be detrimental to ones nose to hit that!

any info on the bounce for those high lofted SW's?

Just had a look at the 70 deg. wedge in a local golf shop.

eerie ... never had a club face look directly into my eyes on address ...

So I have the 64* for two games now and the jury is still out. With my normal 58* sw, I normally would open up the wedge and with an open stance. With this, you are to stand square and no need to open up the wedge and hit like normal iron except a inch or two behind. So far my own consistency it's not there yet. I have yet dare to use the 64* anywhere besides bunker.

Same here, got mine but won't be able to test or shoot them for maybe a couple of weeks.

They look interesting that's for sure.

someone please try the 70*, and if it's an automatic bunker magician, I'd def consider it....barring any potential injuries to self while playing it lol

I have a 52 degree coming. The only other ON OFF wedge I hav is the Shingo LImited 58 degree , and that has been outstanding.

The grind intrigues me on the 52.

Have the 64* coming.. Will be spending some days in the sand and wonder if it will do some "phil mickleson" flop shots.

If anyone that has the shingo 59* wedge and can compare and please letnmenknow.

The 59 is the easiest wedge I've owned for flop shots very friendly when opened up
