I have a Roddio I9 shaft that has a sticker on it that says the weight and it has #2 on it. Length is 41". If I'm going to put this in a 4 iron, do I need to tip it? Thanks

Many graphite irons are already tipped for specific clubs.

If it says #2 it is most likely designed for use in a standard 2 iron.

You may need to find out from the manufacturer on recommended tipping amount to figure out how it affects CPM and flight .
