Ian-500
As per subject. Has anyone tried one? I have a VT 7.0 stiff on the way to test out. Being as though I got on with the Bangvoo 787, I'm hoping that the VT is a relatively cheaper version but with similar characteristics. Haven't come across much talk about them anywhere. What can I expect? Edited July 7, 2015 by Ian-
Vegaman
I had a few hits with the VT 6.0 stiff once, but it's maybe a year ago. From memory it felt pretty stable and stiff for a shaft in the 60 gram range. This was like, Fujikuras most high end offering a few years back, but they never really seemed to take off so to speak. It might have been down to such a simple thing as the graphics, that most people think is terrible. And the price of course, they were/are pretty expensive. They are 80T aren't they? Might be wrong though. I think they look pretty stealthy and good actually..I have seen a gold colour version too, limited i think. Edit: I just checked out the specs on the VT, and even the 6.0 is 2.9 for torque, and the 7.0 is pretty damn low torque at 2.5. So that's like 757 territory. Ian-500
Yeah I read that people didn't like the graphics. I'm with you in that they're stealthy looking. i'm glad you said that it seems stable, as that is what i'm after. I found the Bangvoo 787 very stable so I could be on to a winner. We'll see. If it works out then I'll definitely be interested in the gold coloured one for my fw, as I like a bit of bling too :)

Vegaman
Yeah, the gold coloured one is pretty blingy. But not overly so because It's a satin gold..I thank you for bringing this shaft up, I remember thinking about trying this because stability is exactly what I look for in a shaft too with my pretty fast and sometimes "violent" swing lol..Then I kind of forgot about the VT. Let me/us know how this plays, I got the A-grind classic head coming, might be a good match with the VT.

Ian-500
Paired with a Yamaha V440 9* head, this is a low/mid launching combo. As I'd hoped, it really feels like the Bangvoo 787, just a touch lower in ball flight.
Vegaman
That is excellent news, might have to get one of these to try out.
