Vegaman
So I have an A-grind Classic head coming and was thinking about shafts..I'm thinking about building a kind of "control" heavy-ish driver at a shorter length with this, since it's a nice heavy weight. Even thought about steel for a minute..I rummaged through some stuff and found a few shafts, Kusala Black 72X, Roddio W7WA X, even a very tipped HOF Sadlowski shaft. AND then I found a GD Tour AD I-65 S...I don't even remember how or where I got it! Checked and found an ancient review here on TSG about this shaft and apparently it's 72g with ultra low torque at 2.2. Could this be a good fit for the A-Grind? Does anybody even remeber this shaft, ha ha?
corky3
Is that the silver one with thin vertical green lines? If so I had one in TS x drive....... And I could attest to the low torque....... Way too much shaft for this mortal
Vegaman
No, that one a friend of mine still games. The I-65 is black with the trademark "rings" in red
