Mjr. D
Title says it all. Are the Kuros the best overall irons ever (feel, forgiveness, distance, accuracy, looks, etc)? I have the 2011 Onoff Forged and they feel sensational (soft sponge) with a lot of forgiveness and mega distance (strong lofts). Do the Kuros have that same soft sponge feel? What makes the Kuros better? I'm not interested in the VG3s or new Titleist MBs. I'm looking to get more serious about playing well and less serious about ho'ing so dialing down from 6 sets to 1 or 2 prob helps that. Suggestions, thoughts, etc? Thanks. akapur
Mjr D I currently play both the Kuro's and the 2013 Forged. The Kuro's are slightly longer. Forgiveness is very similar for both, in that they are very forgiving. I personally feel that the 2013 feel better at impact. I know others might disagree, but it is noticeable to me. Size wise they are very similar, the Kuro's look more compact. Edited August 9, 2015 by akapur

supo
Prgr idbl or tr500 for that kinda style. Less of set amazing feel. For the lower capper. Cant beat em all rounders these have taken all other cavity spots apart from 2sets ive not used or use bec they are rare sets. But for gamers both esp the idbl are worth ur attention before u decided
chiromikey
Stew's right, you gotta look at the iD-BLs. As much as I don't like to admit it, the iD-BLs are even better than my 302s. Softer, straighter, and possibly even more forgiving...all with less offset. Hmm...maybe I should get these coppered!

I've been thinking the same way for the last few months because I now have more sets than I have time to even cycle through. So what do I do ? I bought another set a couple of weeks ago. robbie
i think the Epon SUS or the Titleist t MB are my favorite clubs....but the Kuros are up there...had the 2011 and 2013 onoffs and a bit too big for me
Mjr. D
Thanks guys. PRGR... interesting. I have Epon 302s, Miura Mb5003s, 2011 Onoff Forged, Seven S15c, Mizuno MP37, Tourstage 709MC. Oddly enough I think the Tourstage 709mc with MCI's are the best feeling overall. Pure bliss. Clearly too many sets and shafts and s**t so I'm looking to keep one of these sets and possibly buy one more set that will be my true gamer for low scoring, taking it more serious, golf. And I agree the 2011 Onoff's are maybe just a little too big/fat.
Epoulsen
+1 on the id bl's. Best set of cb's i've ever played.
needmoregolf
can't endorse the most underrated set around enough...+3 on the idbl's, and I think these heads could be good with just about any shaft. mikey/stew, on the same page with the coppering of these classics, the wheels may or may not already be in motion ;)
TFL07670
Have the Kuros, possibly looking to trade for epon 302s if you are interested :)
