Have any of u gamed the Roddio S-Tuning Driver ??? It looks very nice and seems to be popular in japan but i can't find much info on it........The CT is measured and it seems to vary from 250-257 ...Its supposed to be similar to the original Epon Zero in feel.....Normally i buy it and try it but the trading forums are very unhealthy at the moment : (

I had a mid version before..... Mmmmm ..... It's got a after foamed mute kinda sound, too mute which I don't really like it, I don't have a epon driver so I can't compare but If compare to my ZY 11, even though the zy is foamed but it's still got a lively kind of sound, not too quiet and not too loud .... And I don't find it very forgiving too but the design is very nice and unique.

Thanks for the info Steve, is the mid supposed to be less forgiving than the S tuning ???? and ill guess the type S "low" is the least forgiving ???? Haha i love the muted sound, which is why the foamed kamui nitro and the foamed ZY11 are my favorite drivers !!!!

I think the different between the Special tuning is the adjustable weight combination not the Hi cor material or anything, they should be made with same material if I m not wrong. I love the ZY but this one mmmm ... Really not my cup of tea...

Haaa, this is just my personal preference, it still a great driver but it just not for me, But if u compare it with the ZY-11, I can tell u "feel" everyone have their own taste but performance, Zy-11 is defiantly more forgiving and longer.

My ryoma special tuning with beyond power is closed but totally differnt feel, the BP launch higher, carry longer distance but didnt roll much,

My Zy11 with Bangvoo, I can see the ball speed is faster carry distance lesser but it roll alot more.

How is the sound of the driver? If you dont mind sharing.

It got a very low "pop" tune

Not metallic ....

yes the sound is somewhat like a pop sound and u will know u caught it.

the pop sound reminds me of the old callaway models. Very confident inspiring

Its also very forgiving. Off centre hits travel fairly well

having said that

you folks should really try the roddio FW shaft

have an F6 sr on an A Grind 14deg head.

Works like a charm!

I felt like its kind of like the Crank driver ya?

i not a fan of odd shaped drivers. i wanted to get it previously. but settled for the Roddio instead.

No regrets. but as you know, the itch is always there.

Want to try other toys

Correct me if Im wrong guys, but are'nt these a pain to install?

Buddy, you are absolutely right!

In Japan, there are only 300 fitters trained to install Roddio. But i was told that a skilled fitter will still be able to do the job

Anyone has more info than that?
