magpies
Hi guys, Couldn't find any info out there so was wondering do anyone know the difference between the Tour Issue X100/S200 japan version vs the US Tour Issue X100/S400? I remember reading somewhere where unlike the US tour issue the kick point is high which means low launch but the Japan version has a low kick point which mean high launch? Would be happy if anyone can clarify this. Cheers
nobmontana
Dynamic Gold Tour issues are all low launching. S200 is lighter than S400 . http://www.truetemper.co.jp/products/steel/dgti.html http://www.truetemper.com/products/dynamic-gold-tour-issue/ FWIW, Standard specs of the non tour issue versions are actually the same as well. I have been told that they are actually the same shafts but the weight tolerence is kept within +/- 0.5g on the Tour Issue.

I finally found the specs which i recall seeing. Let me post it. According to this spec sheet, the kick point/launch is different? nobmontana
The links I provided are directly from True Temper Japan's website. If you want higher launch, you should choose other options wihin their lineup. whichever site you got your information is who you need to conact as I think they mistranslated "kick point" vs "launch" or something like that. kaaayelll
I have a set of the Tour Issue S200 CMT. I bought the set for the heads but haven't brought myself to remove them yet. They're counterbalanced and feel very much like a Modus shaft. I think they're Japan only, but not 100% sure. Quite expensive in the Tour Issue version. I know the US has the AMT, but I don't know if they're similar in concept.
