Is there such a thing as the all around perfect launch angle?, playing a TP510 10.5 Reg retail and the launch was at 15 to 18 degrees. re shaft with UST proforce 65 Stiff and brought down to 12 to 14 degrees ( note all test done on simulater, do to weather in Mich ) seems to carry farther and more roll. any advice on ideal angle ?

Depending on your swing speed. The faster your swing speed is the lower the angle it become.

11*-13* is base on 100MPH +/-, however if the swing and shaft combo cause you to baloon the ball, those 11-13 isn't gonna do you any good also. So spin rate comes into important consideration also here. Too low is hard to hit but yet too much will cause balooning action.

Matching it correctly w/ your ability to swing the club is a must here. Most people are overrated them self IMO.

Knowing how you play on the course is the best fitting, combine w/ the statistic from a good launch monitor + clubmaker's knowledge on every products he carry or sale and off course his good motivation of his sale too.

Good luck!

You are very correct and that is the normal spec's. I have dropped my club head from 9.5 to a 7.5, ClbHdSpeed is at 140+ BllSpeed is at 200+

I have an average carry of 320+.

I get better results from the 11 - 13 degree angle.

I find if I re-arrange my set up and produce a higher launch angle I get excessive back spin, to low and I skim my ball accross or 20 feet off the ground. I generate optimum and far less back spin with a lower face angle adn staying within 11-13.

My swing coach is perplexed as well, he says the distance I get is PURE ball speed, he has told me that I have an uncanny ability to get very low RPM's.

tm have been producing drivers for the last 5 years that produce high launch low spin and the titleist 983 and nike driver r the same.am i not right in saying u want just enough spin to hold it in the air and a launch to send it high.less spin means more accurate as well.

Driver is a TM 580 on a ETA XXX at 45.5"

I have been trying to get a sponsor for LD comps but nobody is biting.

I am consistent with my SS and BSpeed once I get warmed up.

Dispersion pattern is is tight.

I rareley slice and hit high draws now and then.

6'2" 220Lbs

Nice relaxed swing and YES always hope for the best.

I have worked on my swing for a long time and it is pretty much carbon copy on each cut.

If I miss a fairway I over shoot it or draw it too much.

If I cannot play MLB, I will play golf!!!

I attribute all my power to Baseball.
