james13
Looking for a second set of irons to play and leave in Bangkok for visits with family there. Currently play Epon 703 which I like but looking for something less expensive for the second set. Any experiences with the sets mentioned in the title would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. nobmontana
I would also add the Honma 747P irons in that mix. what's nice about the Honma is that even though it is a steel faced irons, they feel really nice off the face. "almost" like a carbon steel faced iron. Also, if the new Honma TW-X forged irons will be similar to the TW-U forged in terms of feel, they will be really really good. james13
Thank you for the suggestion. I haven’t looked at Honma so I’ll check them out. A friend has a set of the older Labospec 247g he wants me to also try.
nobmontana
Labo247G is a good club. very forgiving and quite long. personally was not fan of the springy feel .. but nevertheless a very good set.
james13
Hit them and thought the feel was different that I didn’t care for, your description nailed it. Thanks.
