Steel shaft = greater control. Therefore swtich to graphite and you may lose some accuracy.

Graphite shaft = greater distance. I gained approx. 15 yards on my drive switching from DGS300 to Aldila NV75S. Graphite is easier to swing and has a softer feel than steel. It's a personal preference based on the strengths and weaknesses of your game.

my opinion - if you are thinking about putting steel in your driver, play a 3 wood!
