Hi

I'm looking to purchase a custom Benock and seeking guidance and knowledge on the steel options offered.

SUS316L

SUS410

SUS630

I'm currently gaming a first batch Makino putter with SUS303.
Would highly appreciate it if someone could educate me on the special steel types above in comparison to SUS303.

Thanks in advance!

I have 2 Benock putters currently.  1 with the standard SUS303  and the other with SUS316L...

They are built with different shafts ( steel vs graphite )  so it's not  if the difference in feel is coming from the head or the shaft....

but my personal opinion is that the 316L does feel slightly more muted at impact which contributes to a softer feel.

I do think the SUS303 head provides clearer feedback and perhaps just a tad more solid feeling.

While not in the material options that Benock offers,  I have a Seven putter in Sandvik Stainless Steel ...  this one feels softer than the 316L.
