l8braker
I just got an Odyssey White Hot #2, a center shafted blade, and need to cut it down a couple of inches. I'm used to playing a 33" 350g Scotty so I need to add some weight to this puppy. Besides lead tape, are there other ways to add weight? How about dumping about 20g of lead powder down the shaft? I figure since it's center shafted then it's not going to throw the balance off like on a heel shafted putter. Will adding this much weight mess with the COG and rolling properties? Thanks. FairwayFred
Keep in mind that you need to add 10% of the headweight to move the COG at all. For that putter that would be 33 grams. So I wouldnt worry about it changing the playability.
