hey everyone i have a bee in my bonet yet again and was wanting to hear all of ur opinions on these two sets.

rac combos vs 690.mb p-7 and 690.cb 6-3

i will appreciate any info, thanks

I would go with the RAC combos, purley because the set was designed to play as a combo set unlike the titleist which was designed as two sets

How ever if you want more forgiveness i would go titleist becuase the 690.cb are more forgiving then the rac cb long irons i reckon

yeah true. im using the rac very well at the min but i dunno y but im getting the urge to go full out on titleist. but i have to admit the rac combos are very sweet

why not consider the rac cb's? i haven't seen the u.s. version but the original Japanese / Miura TM rac cb's are probably the most accurate irons i've ever played. the short irons are brilliant.

I WOULD ALSO GO WITH THE TAYLOR MADE RAC COMBOS. I Am PLAYING THE TAYLOR MADE RAC LTS, AND THEY ARE THE BEST IRONS I'VE EVER HIT!!!... TAYLOR MADE ALL THE WAY!!!...

In my experience the RAC CB irons are no more forgiving than the MBs - almost purely a cosmetic change. Therefore, if you are looking for a combo set seeking forgivness in the long irons, the Titleists may be a better bet.

I prefer the RACs. They're not as long from heel to toe as the 690s, which I like. They also promote a slightly lower ball flight, which I also like (I'm a high ball hitter).

Your milage may vary. Good luck.
