jboy
Thanks Mike, You say Titliest don't do this anymore. I see a lot of people state here their clubs are blueprinted especially the Project X playing guys, I can see them placing the dowels in but FLOing the shafts too, seems a bit excessive for a OEM like Titleist to be doing. Any way to tell if a set has the dowels in them ???

Any way to tell if a set has the dowels in them ??? I would have to say that all of the blueprinting is done after market by qualified club builders . I would also highly doubt that any of the OEM's would even consider doing it as they just don't have the time . Is there a way to tell , don't know any other than pulling the shaft and taking a look . Maybe somebody who knows a bit more about this will post here with his thought's . +TourSpecGolfer
There is a downside to blueprinting 8O ..When you get one set done you want all Irons in the future done also :P . I'm addicted to having my Irons blueprinted. It makes all the Difference when the set is set up the way you like. I have found PX 5.5s, NS pro's & Callaway Memphis shafts work best with me and a half degree upright lie angle. I also have soft stepped short Irons and wedges. A wedges Lie angle is also very important. When you Blueprint each set you buy you don't need to change your swing or make adjustments to it when you buy a new set, Its just the same club with a different head. It takes time to get used to any set seeing its true flaws and qualities. Joe Kwok & TourTunedGolf will take care of any inquires for you. jboy
Tourspec, so adjusting the lie and length also comes under the umbrella of blueprinting? The question is if you just do the above and don't FLO the shafts and have dowels inserted, can you class the clubs as blueprinted ?? What is the major key components to it ?? Ah good point, your correct loft and Lie alone does not make a blueprint but my best guess is that Flo, dowel, Lie, Lofts, and what ever other magic is worked makes a proper blueprinting.
