scratchgolfnut69 Posted May 12, 2004 Report Share Posted May 12, 2004 i had a speeder 569 tour spec installed in my 440 sz at 45.75" and i was ready to sell it because i was snap hooking it like mad. i trimmed 1/2" off the butt and now i'm killing it :D i never imagined that butt trimming would make that much of a difference in feel and performance. i always played my driver at 45.75" and never had a problem. for those of you that play anything longer than 45" you should try a little trim and see that you will hit it longer, higher, and straighter! that extra 1/2" might be hurting you. andy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DuffVader Posted May 12, 2004 Report Share Posted May 12, 2004 wholeheartedly agree, my gemini/TR is now trimmed to 42.5" and im still crushing it. i cant hardly swing a 45" driver anymore, i think the shorter length allows me to route the club more efficiently and more than makes up for the lack of clublength.
