Posted June 2, 200420 yr Curious - how do Miura CB's feel in comparison to Taylor Made CB's forged by Miura ?
June 2, 200420 yr I have hit the cb 201's and I ordered a set of the TM miura cb's from Todd last week, they should be here tomorrow or Thursday. When I do get them and play them I will let you know the similarities and the differences.
June 2, 200420 yr I dont think you are really gonna feel much of a difference.. ask yourself why would Miura make irons better for someone else then their own set...??? hence I own Miuras
June 2, 200420 yr Maybe it was the shafts, but I thought the 1005/5002 combo I tried played softer than a set of firesole forged. It could have been the PX shafts in the Miuras that dampened vibration more than the TFR in the FFs, but the FFs felt slightly clicky as opposed to the Miuras.

It could have been the PX shafts in the Miuras that dampened vibration more than the TFR in the FFs, but the FFs felt slightly clicky as opposed to the Miuras. Could be the chrome. I talked a TM rep when the first TM300s came out and over here we had both Made in China and Made in Japan stickers. He "said" they were both forged in Japan/Miura but the "Made in China" ones were chromed in China thats why they might feel a little different. That is a reps story so take it for what its worth. That is why this cheapskate has 300s (US$200 cheaper than the Japan) that are Made in China except for the Forged 300 SW which only came with the Japan set.
June 6, 200420 yr i have a set of miura NA combos and they definitely feel softer than the tm firesole forgeds... tfr5.5's in the miura's and s300's in the FF's... the shafts make a huge difference in feel needless to say.
