Guest
If anyone has hit the new Speeder 764, how does it compare to the 661 and 757? Inclined to give it a try but would like to find a couple of reviews first. Didier
+TourSpecGolfer
I hit it and like it a lot as far as heavy shafts go. I'm not a Fuji man and have never found the perfect Fuji for me yet. I think i have purchased all of them also and tried tipping many of them with no luck. With Graphite Design every shaft I have tried is a winner, The W60 and W70 are Awesome!! Mind blowing Awesome and the I-65 is the most used shaft as of 2 months ago on the JPGA tour. The GD shafts play pretty stout, the I-65 has low torque, the M85 is the best FW shaft Ive ever touched and there is a proto M75 coming out very soon. All graphite design shafts are made in Japan and Korea not China and Taiwan. Anyways the 764 is a high kick shaft and helped bring my trajectory lower in the R7 but I lost a bunch of distance with the swap. My 2 cents: Fuji is going down hill, old company original owner has passed away and they are in some serious need of a complete makeover and new blood. Didn't know the owner passed away and indeed it can be very unsettling to a company. Only problem with GD Japan is the cost :surprize: Didier
Eveleth
Chris, I'm not sure if you have played the GD CP-02? If you have, can you give me your impressions on the comparison between the I-65 and the CP-02?
+TourSpecGolfer
Chris, I'm not sure if you have played the GD CP-02? If you have, can you give me your impressions on the comparison between the I-65 and the CP-02? Yes thats another stout shaft. I do think the I-65 plays stiffer. Its an unreal shaft if your SS is 105+. The CP02 isnt in play that much on the J-Tour anymore. To me the I-65 stiff plays like an untipped W60 X flex. Check out the Graphite Design website for more specs and info.
