Posted June 7, 200420 yr I looked at every possible wedge and during my research realized the Fourteen Prototypes with a name stamp are as rare as it gets. Only Pros and VIPs are able to get these and its not as simple as calling them and throwing around big numbers, It takes connections and something special to get these. I'm using all the back channels to attempt to acquire mine including a 4 hour train ride and with the help of Toshi Endo it looks like I may just be able to get a set with my name. There was a single wedge on Yahoo Japan that sold for 800.00 last month here is a pic of it: Nothing new, Nothing different its just a Fourteen Proto I will do anything to get with my name on it.
June 7, 200420 yr Those wedges look great! I love the finish Chris - what is it? and Does it fade? Shape of the wedges looks perfect - not too round, not too square

Shape of the wedges looks perfect - not too round, not too square I don't know exactly what finish they are, All I know is that Toshi Endo aka Anserfreak has got some and said he will do whatever he can to help me get a set. I'm going to the fourteen headquarters hopefully next week and I will do a full report with pics and interviews to post on the main page as an article for the Magazine. I hear ya the shape looks unbeatable
June 7, 200420 yr That is the perfect shape for a 56. I like the nice square leading edge and how it flows into the neck. They are a little out of my price range though.
