The TTG saga is over . I know the thread was taken out and I dont want to start another one - this is my final post on this matter to thank TTG (Scott) for finally bringing this saga to end.

I also want to thank bigkidneys (Jason Trout) whose involvement, I am sure, has more than motivated TTG to come through with the goods.

Thank you guys.

Didier,

Would love to buy a new set of irons but my builder just gave me a nice big "variation $$$" on some changes to the house and for now the money will head towards the house

Jamie,

Glad to hear everything came off smooth. Kudos to Scott for taking care of business on his end. Sad to hear about his business, but such is life

On a brighter note, I will be moving to Guam in August and my wife has already decided That Australia will be our first vacation destination sometime around Feb or March 2005. You bet your ass if I am Down Under I will give you a holler. I have always wanted to go there but my work obligations have kept me on the East Coast and all over that Sandbox we call the Middle east :-)

With everything that happened today over there, I would love to go back, kick some more ass and get paid the Extra $$ for it

With all that off my chest, :money: Heres to you getting your money back and turning that sand box into the largest glass factory the world has ever seen :-)

I called the Saudi Embassy this afternoon about ten minutes of five wanting to comment on the days events. I was put on hold for almost fifteen minutes and when a lady finally picked up she said hello and asked how she could help me. I told her I wanted to comment on the events today. Her response "I'm sorry we are closed for the day."

I replied "I'm sorry too, and by the way you and your country can go to hell!"

They just pay lip service to fighting terrorism and it's time we tell them either address the issue for real or we will address it for you. Personally I have advocated making a lot of glass since 9/11. If we are going to be accused of being the bully while at the same time getting sand kicked in our face by our supposed friends maybe it's time we kicked them back.

Thanks for all you have done for us Jason. Tell any of your buddies you still talk to that the country is grateful for all they do.

I don't mean to stray from this post but feel obligated to speak some more. Isn't it ironic that they killed the son of a bitch and his goons as they were disposing of the body? One of the articles I read tonight stated that as soon as they saw the website and photos, they stormed down into a neighborhood that they expected this guy to be at, caught him disposing of the body, and killed them right there! I mean, hell, I am glad someone killed these guys but if they knew where they lived, why did they not go sooner? Its like they were waiting to see if these guys follow through with it!

And something else bothers me as well. If they can do it to our guys, why not do it to them? Sometimes you have to fight terror with terror. These guys are so fanatical about their beliefs and what they have to do to achieve martyrdom, why not catch these bastards, hang them with rope, stuff pork down their throats, and then behead them as well. I am sure if they see that we are willing to do the same damn things to them, they may think twice. This is one of the reasons why crime is so bad here in the states. The punishment is nothing like it should be. let's start adopting practices like the do in India. At least for the sex offenders!

Personally though, both sides here are losing innocent people every day. Why not hit them with a MOAB, showing that if people want to call us a bully, then dammit, lets show them what we can do! I bet if we don't get their attention, at least we have a better chance of taking out half of the ones we need to. No matter what we do or say, they do not want us there and think we are the "Infidels"! i am so damn sick of hearing that word! I have never stereotyped or been racist in my life but damn it is getting harder everyday for me when I see friends go down and all these assholes have to say is "Down with America, and Get out!" Lets leave them like they are and see what they can do! I am sure Sally Struthers can strut her fat ass in there and help those damn kids. I would rather help by phone than get my ass blown off delievering rice to a mud hut!

I am sorry if I offend anyone here but I am getting so damn sick of this crap and am glad to be taking a 2 year vacation from being pulled to quote "Fight for our Freedom" as GW likes to say. No offense to anyone here who have served in the past but I do not believe we have ever fought for our own freedom except for The American Revolution. That is not saying that we have not "Fought for other peoples' freedom". Which is exactly what we have done.

Thanks for the kind words about our serving. However, it has always been like a job for me until 9/11. After that, it became more personal for myself and my family. I would not think twice about getting back out. I do have to say though that after 10 solid years of serving off and on, I get tears in my eyes hearing the Star Spangled Banner and knowing how much better we have it here than most anywhere else. Thanks and God Bless you all!

I was following your quest to get your monies back, and am glad you were able to. I thought it wasn't going to happen, but as soon as the local authorities and the FBI waerenotified, I knew it would be over soon.

On another note, I have been thinking of visiting Australia, and heard that there was a Sydney Open tourney? If there is, when is it usually held? It would be great to start off the vacation by playing in the tourney, then go around and see the sights.

Great to hear that it all ended well  I am a buddy of Nudgees and he is a good man and I was pissed to see he was burnt :(

Also, bigkidneys....being an Aussie we go through the same thing here with the media and pollies bulls**tting on about how the war is bad :( I get very angry and upset knowing that there are American, British and Aussie soldiers (and others) over in IRAQ and other places fighting for this and the papers report nothing but slander :(

I am so proud of the way America defends peoples rights and get pissed when it is the same people who say the war on terror is bad

Also, that glass factory comment is one of the best things I have heard in years

If you come to Brisbane to have a game with Nudgee I would be more than happy to have a game with you guys!!

Jaster and Jamie,

Chances are I will be there for sure around March for about a week. My wife has plans to diver the GBR. Always wanted to get out there and it looks like it will finally happen. As a matter of fact, we are training at the moment here with some Brits and Aussies. They are all artillery units and getting ready to head to Afghanistan. Feel bad for them every day I see them coming in from the field all hot and soaked in sweat. I will talk to you guys soon to get a perspective on what we should do while we are there.

Damn, now I'm getting jealous I won't be in Oz in March.... hmmmm long overdue vacation? Don't I wish.

Jason, my father served over 20 years and I was brought up on the Red, White, and Blue. Sadly my dad didn't live to see the WW II Memorial but at least I can take some comfort knowning he didn't see the 9/11 attacks either. He's in Arlington now and from his grave I could look right into the hole left by the air plane. Fortunately in typical American spirit citizens and immigrants alike worked in some terrible weather with one goal in mind that by the anniversary of the attack the building would be repaired and it was.

Talk to you all soon and by the way to the Aussie's on board and standing with us in Iraq and other places ....... THANKS!

I spent 3 years in the DC area (Bethesda) to be exact. Absolutely loved the area. So much to do! Was not into golf at the time though. Probably glad too as I am sure the cost of Greens fees are pretty stout! Was up there last year to see some of my wife's family who lives in Annapolis. Saw a play at the Kennedy Center and walked around the mall for a bit. When I am there, it is like the most beautiful place in the world! I am a history buff and the nostalgia there is unremarkable. Will probably end back up there some time in the future for a few years.

In my last post I forgot to say that the military owes alot to your father and those that served during WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam. We learn from our achievements and mistakes and they no doubt have helped make the military what it is today. The WWII Memorial has been long overdue and I plan on seing it before I head out as DC is only 6 hours from here. PM me and maybe we can get together if I come up that way for a round. It would give my wife a chance to spend time with here father before we head out.

Do you think that its easy to fight terrorism? Im sure the Saudis do not want terrorism in their country as would any country in the world. Hey, even the US was caught out...the UK had been fighting terrorism in Ireland for years and never actually succeeded.

But do question yourself as to why some hate the US Govt...I dont and have never condoned terrorism adn believe that these brutal killing is wrong...however, so does the killing of innocent people in the name of war against terrorism!

Bush was pushing for was in the name of WMDs...where are they? What is the link between Iraq and Al-Qaeda? Is the world really safer with Saddam in custody?! Would the American people like for Russia and China to pull resources and invade the US to dispose of Bush if China and Russia thought that Bush was a dangerous person?

No one wants terrorism but when a country invades another country to dispose of its leader without UN support and now cannot prove the existence of WMDs...begs a whole lot of question. And, Bush has the audacity to seek UN support to rebuild Iraq...why? Well, too many US army personnel are being killed and election is just a few months away!!!

At the end of the day, it is the many innocent lives that are killed that suffers...be it Americans, British or Arabs. All in the name of making the world safer from a tyrant...BUT IS IT REALLY?!

I called the Saudi Embassy this afternoon about ten minutes of five wanting to comment on the days events. You are absolutely right! We had no business over there and personally I think that it was motivated by Daddy not doing the job right the first time! I think we should just let everyone fight their own battles except for those countries closest to us (ie Britain, Australia, Japan, etc) who have been with us in the past. All the others should just fend for themselves. If they ask for help, than we'll give it. Otherwise, I am sick and tired of being called an "Occupying Force"! We have enough oil reserves in Texas and the Gulf Of Mexico , that we don't need the damn oil over there anyway! Hell, who wants to occupy a big Sand Box! And that is truly all it is! Benn there and Afghanistan and absolutely have nothing good to say about either. We have our own (ie. Pensacola, St. Pete).

But as usual, we got ourselves in there like Vietnam and now Bush wants to save face and not deal with it until after the election. Hopefully then, he can own up and bring our brothers and sisters back.
