Guest
Looking at trying a smaller headed driver and thinking about the AS. The RS seems too hard to hit consistantly. What did everyone think of the AS And which ones are conforming, the 8,9,and 10 right?
forgedCBuser
the AS/660tr is my favorite driver... beautiful profile and hdshape although not as long as some of the drivers out now. i rotate between that and a e340/661 which is super-hyten as opposed to all Ti. concensus differs on the conforming ones... some .5 lofts are AS lite and non-conform, some are legal if they're stamped on the bottom left of the '1' on the sole, i think? ask nickyprice...he's the man when it comes to kasco! Guest
I did ask him, have not heard back I just won the auction, can't argue with the price on it much! :surprize: The auction is vague but it states "Kasco Tour Design DNA AS model" 9 deg Sounds like conforming to me. What is the CCs on this one

slicktry
I own one. It is amazing..and who ever said that it is not as long as "today's" driver dont know squat. Today I hit 13/14 fairways with a average of 295 off the tee. I am in awe. I think that the ones that have DEMO above the serial #'s are conforming, tour only. BTW, where is NickyPrice????? God Bless Jer
forgedCBuser
the AS is 350cc but has a deep face and the pear shape makes it look a tad smaller. *i need to edit my previous post... the loft stamp of the .5 lofts should be on the bottom RIGHT (not left) of the '1' stamp. non-conforming have the loft on the upper right of the '1'. confused yet? What did everyone think of the AS And which ones are conforming, the 8,9,and 10 right? If you're looking for a hot, beuatiful, and great feeling smallish driver then I highly recommend the Tourstage RX-1 Type 315 (or its younger sibling, the X-Drive 325). I'd chose the RX-1 over the Kasco Tour 10 out of 10 times.

nickyprice
Only The AS lite was non conforming. I DIST. KASCO AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL AS / FS and E 340's. The AS IS 350 CC. and is 6-4 titanium as opposed to super hyten. It is a discontinued model now. If any one is interested I have 3-4 E340 and FS I could part with .; all with neat shafts and 9 of 10 condition. E mail to : [email protected] Thanks. Guest
Got the club today, I must say I am very impressed great looking head. I'll try the Vista Tour 70 thats in it but I may need something a bit different to really test. The mirror face looks cool and the club head looks as good as my 300 tour, did  . I can tell its going to have a "ping" sound to it. Matt
forgedCBuser
actually the e340 has more of a 'ting' sound... the AS has a nice 'crack' sound as opposed to the 'thwack' of the 300tour (at least mine sound like that :o )
Guest
I was just assuming it would ping from bouncing a ball on the face. Man this sucker looks nice. Who has hit one next to a 300 Tour? I liked the 300. Matt
Guest
Got the club and I am very excited about it. Has a boring Vista Tour 70 shaft but it performs. It also is a PRO model that I hear is even more rare. This is one of the best looking heads I have ever seen. The ball flight is high with low spin with this 9 deg. Long, as long as my 580XD tour (which is gone because of this one) Nice solid feel, Now I understand how the Tourstage must feel like. The "crack" sound/feel is correct. Very nice. I have a Small Gemini coming to try against this.
