July 16, 200421 yr i just got a 510 TP and want to switch shafts.. i was wondering if anyone would know to what length the club would play if i put a 41 1/4 inch shaft in it..because i know the bore isnt very deep. or oculd anyone tell me the length of their shaft in a TP and then total length. thanks!
July 18, 200421 yr taylor mades do have a shallow bore depth-- 1 3/4 top 1.5'' on some.. your new lenght will be ruffly 42 1/4 or maybe close to 42''... not a good length for a the driver i feel. need at least 44''.. a normal pull put shaft for taylor made will be 44'' long, when inserted it will play out to 45''..give or take a little..
