el_noonan Posted July 24, 2004 Report Share Posted July 24, 2004 How do the pros get their irons to play to D3 swing weight without adding lead tape or powder in the shafts. I was told that a lot of the pros do not like to add swing weight by plugging the shaft so how else would they do it and keep the club head looking like it is from the manufactory?? Lowpro Posted July 26, 2004 Report Share Posted July 26, 2004 you can use tip weights that fit into the tip of the shaft --before installation-- and these range from 2-6grams, light weight grips-- new golf pride multi compound cord--43grams. a few examples..
