My new Titleist CBS41 stand bag

Just got the best stand bag ever from Chris. I have tried many stand bags, but this Titleist bag is absolutely awesome. I remember a while back someone was selling them on ebay as "Tour Japan only" bags, what a load of bull. Some bozo's were bidding as much as $600 dollars for it. Chris got me one for $235 shipped to US. If you are a stand bag user, I highly recommend one. It blows away any stand bag available in the US, Callayway daytripper, ogio, nike air tour, ect.........

Thanks Chris for getting me one, it was worth the wait.

how about the spacing for ur irons, I really want a bag that has grooves like the callaways that has the grooves to keep the irons somewhat steady.  My nike bag keep bunching up the irons....

does the titleist bag have it?

The titleist does not have the grooves like the Daytripper. I had one of those and to me the grooves did not make a difference. I had a problem with my nike tour also. The big problem with the nike is that the main pocket is just to small, when more than one item is put in it, it jammed my irons and everything else.

The titleist has 4 full length dividers and 7 sections. It also has some great pocket's. When the main pocket is stuffed it sort of expands and does not jam up the irons.

I would highly recommend one if you have had frustations getting clubs out of the bag with your Nike as I did.

Stand bag meaning it's like a "Hoofer"..you can walk with it on your back..IMHO it looks pretty thick/heavy?

Its not a "Hoofer" type mechanism, the leg actuator is like other titleist bag's. Like I posted before its not the lightest bag, 6.38lbs, but with as much stuff I carry the weight doesn't matter that much. For convenience and features, it is the best stand bag I have ever used

Jin, I can't see the pix, hehe, and thanks for your advice. I'm thinking that bag or the tourstage stand bag.

I think I ordered mines the same time as you guys but it still hasn't arrived (UK) and it's driving me bananas!

Got graphites and Project X shafts in my old ping bag (non graphite friendly) and it's a pain in the ass, worried they get scratched up and the shaft bands start to wear off prematurly

Come soon please!

Your bag was ordered way after these guys, don't worry good things come to people who wait..lol nah but seriously I do my best to get it to everyone as quick as possible and you just ordered it a week or two ago so your clear. Thats another thing for everyone who shops in the Catalog the policy states 3-6 weeks but some get there in 2 days, It depends on the product, season, size, etc etc.

Hi Chris,

I ordered it on the 3rd or 4th of May but they only shipped 17th of this month, guess I have another week or two to wait if this bag goes full term.

Christmas never comes early.

You other guys who got theirs, give me a touchy - feely sexual report on the bag to keep me going, the reviews so far are rubbish!

:smile1:

Hi jboy:

The wait for the bag is aboslutely worth it!! To keep you going, here is a more detailed report:

The top has 7 sections and 4 full length dividers. The bottom row is a single section where I place my PW, 56, & 60. The row up has two sections where I place 4-6 in the left and 7-9 in the right. The next row up also has two sections where I place my two resue mids in the left and my driver in the right. The top row has a putter well and an additional smaller section where I sometimes keep my driver. It is very functional up top, the best I have used.

Right side pockets: Full length main pocket that is very functional, it sort of expands when you put a lot of stuff in it so it doesn't jam your clubs. A seconday pocket not as long where you can keep the rain hood in or other smaller items. Smaller valuables pocket which is large enough to keep wallet, cell phone, keys and maybe a few other items in.

Front pockets: Has insulated bottle pocket that is the perfect size for a 20oz. gatorade. In front of the bottle pocket, is a great pocket where I keep a handful of balls, long tees, cameron divot tool and coins. On both sides of the front pockets are two smaller pocket where I keep shorter tees and pencils. Has one more smaller pocket where you can keep smaller item, ie business cards.

Left pockets: Has larger main pocket where I keep my extra sleeves of balls(number of extra sleeves depends on the course :smile1: , extra tees, and tape. Has one last pocket next to the left main where I keep an extra glove or two and my golfers bible.

I think that all the pockets, lets see............... that makes 10 of them.

Excellent stand legs and mechanism. Pushes out legs effectively and returns when set down and lifted. Much better mechanism than the Hoofer type I had in my Nike tour. It always jammed my bottom row of clubs.

Izzo strap model that I don't believe is available in the US. Attaches to plastic/rubber main handle which you can adjust up or down depending how you want your bag balanced. Both straps pivot on a plastic assembly which provides comfort and a good fit. Of course the straps are adjustable on the other ends. The lower back pad is very comfortable but not too soft so as to give you a sore back and the end of the day.

Umbrella holder is a very good design. It does not allow the tip of the umbrella to touch the ground. This I like because it doesn't allow the umbrella to pop out of the bottom strap when bag is set down like my old nike tour bag. The top strap is velcro and very sturdy, unlike the cheap drawstring on my old nike.

Odd and ends:

Has a quick release D-ring to attach a towel to. Also has a bungee like cord at the top which is adjustable. The rain cover is the highest quality that I have ever seen for a stand bag.

jboy, I hope this helps in the meantime.

Thanks Jin,

those numerous pockets sound like the business, I carry tape too for my fingers.

If someone could post some pictures of the backstraps actually on someones back that would be great, I'm interested to see how it looks (and that rain cover too) :smile1:
