Posted August 13, 200420 yr I hit it today and I must say I like it :-O Its not the worst looking TM driver I have ever seen and it felt really solid. The one I hit had a 757 X in it at 44" D4 (perfect for me) and the weights were 14 - 6 - 2 - 2. I hit low draws (the draw I can understand) but I hit it considerably lower than my E. Just a few questions - I am going out to the States at the end of August. Where would be the best place to first demo a R7 and then hopefully buy one? What exactly is that weight config? 14-6-2-2 Patrick (TM driver)
August 13, 200420 yr You can indoor demo them at any golf superstore. Or if you actually want to test one out on the course, you can come by my place. 14-6-2-2 starting from heel weight port is a mid draw, that's 14g on the heel, 6g on the back heel side, 2g on the back toe side, 2g on the toe. If you did the reverse, you get mid fade. You are also maintaining the R7's original swingweight with that setup.
