I have a cleveland 588 TG that i am looking to get refinshed. i have heard all of the problems some had by some with the iron factory. I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations on who to use for redoing the satin finish.

thanks,

Keith

I'm also curious if it is OK to refinish a TG raw to satin without problems. I absolutely love the look of my TG 58 satin.

its not that we dont know any - its that we get the same debate whenever this comes up. Golf Psychos are meant to be good (not sure) but they are very expensive. Iron Factory were the King, then went to the dogs but do seem on the up and up now.

On a related note ALL satin finishes are electroplated, not just the "Electrosatin" finish :D

I know a guy that just used the Iron Factory and he had only good things to say about it. He said one of the owners was very sick and quality slipped. That was quite a while ago and now things are back to their usual standard.
