Can anyone confirm the rumor that PRGR is going to make a comeback here in Cali? It's tough enough to get any Japanese products here, but if there's any truth to this, when will it be announced?

p.s.

Are there going to be a new line of PRGR irons, woods, drivers, wedges, and bags in the near future? If so... any pics available?

Where did you hear this rumor, can you confirm its source? Lets get down to the nitty gritty, PRGR is registered in the U.S, Pro Gear is what is now known as PRGR in Japan and owned by Yokohama Tire company. Some companies are saying they will take a crack at the U.S, I personally don't think PRGR will be making a run at it soon. I will give them a ring but doubt on any knowledge of that subject, Perhaps your source is dreaming or speculating.

This source is pretty reliable. He is a clubmaker and works for a shop here in California. They import alot of Tourstage, Honma, Feel, Mizuno and on rare occasions, PRGR stuff.

He just heard this rumor, but he's usually right on. Don't let me start an international incident, i just wanted to hear some feedback from you in Japan.

To me it doesn't matter if PRGR comes here to the US, because it's more fun knowing that their stuff along with the other Japanese MFG's are pretty rare commodities.

So... how about those new PRGR items?

The new stuff is the 405 driver ( built for slow swingers ) the new FW's also built for slow swingers and some womens stuff, they are almost due for a few more iron sets, the Duo 370cc 9* Square face is still going strong on the J-tour and I have also seen some that say CFM for conforming model.
