gd1976
I am an average golfer playing of a 9 handicap and have the option to purchase at set of Taylormade LT's with Dynamic Gold R300 shafts in them. I currently play a set of DCI990 with S300 Dynamic Gold. What are the advantages and disadvantages of going to the R300 shafts? Thanks
hornyjuan
Too hard to say. Like everyone else on this board they will tell you to get fitted so your equipment will be optimal for your swing. There is just too many factors that can determine what flex is best for you. Just pay $50 bucks at a reputable golf shop and get your swing analyzed and fitted for some irons. If you have any Callaway Golf Centers near you I suggest you get fitted at one of the centers. State of the art equipment and excellent information. While your at it get your Driver fitted as well. If anything, you might gain/lose/stay the same if you switch from regular to stiff. Only testing and monitering your swing can you see the results.
Lowpro
if your current irons play well for you and the flex feels good ,control is good etc.. than the stiff flex is what is needed. the r-300's are just a regular flex shaft and would have a little softer feel to them but may lend to less control if your playing the s300's well now..
