I got the 14* on Fuji HK Pro80. I will try to get some pics up and a review shortly. My first impression, as when I received Gauge irons and putters, is that the fit and finish is superb. This baby should be a rocket...

I can't imagine any better shaft for a FW that the HK-Pro80...it'll be a "rocket" indeed.

Man... may have to wait until the weekend... maybe tonight. I did some carpet putting w/ it last night to see how it may feel and it seems like a "hot" face as oppposed to say a muted face like a Mizuno MP001. After I briefly owned the MR23 FWs on HK Pro80s, I knew that was the fairway shaft for me. And this head is exactly what I was looking for. Not too deep but plenty there w/ the rounded sole. Has the Gauge half cord grip in silver / black and the shaft has the same color gradation... silver for a few inches by the grip tapering to jet black. Sweet looking stick.

Finally got to try this club tonight. At the risk of stating the all too common reply, it is awesome. I will credit a lot of that to the Z Comm Pro80 shaft, which I had tried before and loved. I find it very friendly, and like most clubs I have tried, a smooth swing was nicely rewarded. I did not have the Royal Collection Super CV to compare to (and off the tee I hit that club very long), but the overall distance and tracetory was the best I have tried. The face is hot and solid (I think "hot" faces sometimes feel hollow at impact, but this club is not like that). It certainly is .5 degrees open, and I liked that a lot. Not sure why I never settled in to the RC, but this Gauge is staying in the bag.
