Hi Jamie, I will have one 3 wood too many once I try out the GAF1. Only just received it and had it shafted with a 869 TS. One or the other will go in the near future :smile2: Life treating me well indeed. Hope likewise for you and that the house is coming along nicely. That sucks - they first announced it at the PGA show 8 months ago! I can only assume they're encountering quality control issues with the Shling strap. Guest
How do you like that Air Muscle? Absolutely love it. Have had a Fli-Hi, Hi-858, and PRGR Zoom 050i and the Airmuscle blows them all away for me. Much less offset than the rest and sets up like a normal iron. Have a UST Rv2 115g. stiff shaft and the club plays long and straight. Nice out of the rough as well and very versatile. Have even considered replacing my 3 iron with a 21* Airmuscle. Mr. 67
That setup is SICK! Great looking irons! How does that Fourteen JC Proto play? Do you have any close up pics of your wedges?
Guest
That setup is SICK! Â Great looking irons! Â How does that Fourteen JC Proto play? Â Do you have any close up pics of your wedges? Thanks! The Fourteen JC 371 is sick - like an improved 983K. Having said that, I've had it over 3 months and I can't decide whether to put it on the block... My wedges are sweet but I've just sent that to be refinished in black or satin. Also need to deaden the grooves a little - they even chew up range balls! You can see more pics of the irons and wedges here; http://homepage.mac.com/didierli/PhotoAlbum7.html

They would look even better IMO in a black satin finish. Thanks for the additional pics too!

Guest
Didier; How do you like the Gauge Design woods? Have you tried BBD Type-H so you can compare? Also, have tried thought of TourStage MR-23 US Blades? That's what I'm planning to get as I've decided to go back to blades. I keep opening the pics cause they're so sweet. You the man. Thanks, Bomb

  Thanks, Bomb Bomb, Believe it or not I haven't had time to hit the GAF1 yet! Can't believe it myself. I have tried the BBD Type-H a while ago but don't know if I'd be able to make a fair comparison. MR-23 blades are sweet - never owned them but have hit them. Can't go wrong. You should also give the X-Blades a go if you've never tried them. I still have mine even though I'm playing the Gold's. Thanks for the compliment on the bag - I love it :-) Didier
Guest
Didier; Does Golds Factory finish those irons in satin if you want? Or black finish on the wedges? Does the custom order cost more than TourStage MR-23 Blades, for example?

Everything's custom and yes they cost more than MR-23s.
