golfclubjunkie
Can anyone share with me their experiences with this shaft.
MIura5001
Great shaft, plays weak to flex like the 660TR but higher kick point. I have this in 580XD and it's a perfect combination with this head and its launch characteristics. :fuji:
golfclubjunkie
Thanks MIura5001. Does the shaft launch it high? & how is the spin for you MIura5001? Anyone else???
robbie
this is an awesome shaft..i would compare it more to a lil bit heavier version of a 652..and it plays a bit tighter....high launch for sure but it bores pretty well ! .......this is a shaft set up for maximum carry for the 110mph and less crowd...very very smooth ! MIura5001
I first put a 660TR x-flex in my 580XD Tour head and it spun too much and hit the ball much higher than my 510DF. I tried a Penley ETA Tour X and it brought the ball down. Then I got the 693TR and it played just like the 660TR but hit the ball flatter and I got much better run out after landing. DemolitionMan
The Fuji Tour Spec 693TR with the TM 510 DF (not TP) is affectionately known around here as THE TRUCK DRIVER. It is the longest driver in golf, bar none. Awesome, awesome shaft for the 510 DF or similar sized club heads. When it is cut and fit, it plays a little lighter than one would think, low 60s in grams, just perfect. But I would never put this shaft in a FW, too lite. FAQ
anyone have a pic of this shaft? mknbirdie - I looks like the typical TourSpec Speeders. All those little Fujikura flags around the top. Or, if it's not Tourspec it is just black. http://www.fujikurashaft.jp/ftpm/ftpm.html

DemolitionMan
Dman - what loft do you have it in?thanks 9.5 in the 510 DF. I tried it in the 9.5 R7 TP, but it was not as long, still a good launch, but the R7 is overrated.

shoregroup
I have this shaft in a Titleist 983K 8.5* head which Joe put together. I purchased it from EBAY from the original owner. I have the "X" short shafted 1/2". It's a great shaft, smooth at impact, and tremendous ball control. The loft however in the driver is now too low, since I have made serious swing changes. I believe that forthe shaft to perform properly, a consistnetly storn move through the ball is mandatory. I now have the Tour Spec 771Ta in a Taylor 510 TP with 10.5*. This shaft is "S" and the only diffenrecne I find is a slightly softer feel at impact. My PCS guy is afraid to remove the shaft from the Titlesit head, as I'd like to get a 9083K 10.5 and resahaft with the same shaft.
