Posted September 14, 200420 yr comment_56418 Guys, a friend of mine bought some Northwestern Oversize driver for $35 new. The shaft, though, is REALLY whippy, even for someone who just started golfing this year. He'd really like to reshaft it with something cheap. What do you suggest? A YS-6 pull? September 21, 200420 yr comment_57089 i wouldnt reshaft it at all, ive tried reshafting Wal-Mart clubs like that, its hard, the heads are so cheap they will melt if you apply the heat necessary to remove the orginal shaft. i say try to find hm some old TM Supersteel,

September 22, 200420 yr comment_57261 Save your money!!! Unless you do the install yourself it's going to cost you $10-$20 then the cheapo shaft will be $25..go to big 5 and buy him a golden bear driver :surprize:
