jonny5
I remember reading about the driver Chris was talking about a while back, the 404 with TIP 9 or something like that. Then I went on the website to see the driver being named 403. From what Taipanli told me, I check the specs in the FW section and its face is 2.5* closed! I see the 403's driver being sold on ebay for really cheap but another friend told me that the japanese 404 is much better and will cost more. Now, I guess going back to the topic question is that 'is the 403 and 404 same exact driver just with different names? If not, what is the difference and will the 404 have a more straight face?' Thanks for your help
+TourSpecGolfer
Im told they cant make a good profit because American clubs are so cheap compared to Japan and that they create other designs to accommodate the U.S price structure. the I & W 403 AD series in the U.S looks cheesy IMO. Breal
The 404 looks way better and is closed on the 8.5 1 degree, and is non-conforming. The 403 is 2.5 closed and doesn't look good IMO and is conforming. The Japan Srixon is way way better in quality. And also I believe that TSG can get them custom bent to your liking on the 404.
