i just put a 652ex speeder in my 983E.

i have a sonartec np99 and currently a BBD type h is in the mail. i want the shafts of the driver to match the 3 wood.

should i put a tour spec 757 in the 3 wood, or i just saw the HK-PRO 80. i know its a little heavier, but i heard i was a better shaft. what shall i do?

plus: and opinions on the s-trixx bassara amorphous?

HK-80 or 757 are two choices you cant go wrong with. I would personally pick the HK80 but know several who would go 757.

You can't go wrong with the 757, alot of people like it I play with. But the HK-80 is far better for a three wood, the torque and weight are bar none perfect for a 3 wood, and those people in mentioned on the 757 are switching.

Depends on how you hit your existing set up and your swing style...and weight preference. Because the way I see it , 660 and 869 could be your choice too if you are considering 75 - 85 grams kind of shaft. However not knowing what is wrong with your existing set up, i don't think i can suggest you anything.

Would you consider going with steel? I personally prefer the flight , and I love the feel I used to use the S300, but I am switching to nippon 1050, because of the lighter weight.

I would put a 660TR in a 3 wood and HK-Pro80 in a 5/7 wood.

i hit it too high wth the aldila, and i was trying o somewhat match freq.s
Aldilla Green NV? What weight? 75 or 85 or?

I would most likely suggest you to go w/ a lower loft if you do like one of the above shafts, Other wise you'll not gonna fix your ball flight...You might even make it worst.

Just my 2 cents!

do you think i could cut the butt on the pro80 1/2" long, then tip the shaft 1/2"?

b/c i have 15* now and i think i couldnt possible hit anything less. the problem is im not gettign the signature sonartec penetrating ball flight
