  1. THANKS, it is not much fun bast!#$s also got my camera and computer!
  2. Hi Guys, An unusual topic but my bag was stolen and included some JDM stuff, Was hoping that you guys could keep your eyes open for any of the following, Kamui 456 silver, marked as 10* conforming, fitted with a graphite design 9003 stiff flex shaft at 46" total length has a masda slick black grip, also a 52* and 58* on off s forged wedge with s200 shaft, the rest of my stuff was mizuno mp30 irons, cobra s9-1 pro 18* and a yes tracy II putter. The gear would be coming out of Australia and will most likely not show up but thought I would post anyway (just in case) Vineman
  3. Jerry, It all depends on how you play, I have a driver ss of 106mph and I choose a 4 or 5 wood over the 15* 3 wood, I play off 7 and have been down to 4 but have a fade (slice on a bad swing) I find the 17* gives me the best chance at putting it in the fairway or on the green and actually goes further for me than a 15* I am saving for an egg as we speak and can't wait to get one in my hands, then the next thing will be a 21* !!!!!!!!! Vineman
  4. Thanks, I remember from last year that they went pretty quickly, do you collect them all or off load the previous years version?
  5. Hi Guys, Does anyone know if Yamaha are looking to release a 2011 version of their X V forged range in particular the tour model? Vineman
  6. Hi Guys, As with the rest of you I'm fully into the JDM clubs now and am refreshing my bag when $ are available. My question here is are the JDM balls as good as the JDM clubs? I am currently playing the TM Penta TP, having played Callaway tour ix and Titleist Pro V1X prior to that, I was thinking of trying the Mizuno 501 and TS solid / mild when they come out but wanted some others experience with JDM balls first. Thanks Vineman
  7. I have the Kamui 456 silver and have it 10grams above standard with a GD9003 in s flex awesome combo but with a 45.5" length it tips the scales at E0.5 sw (not happy with the clubmaker I used as he would not shaft at less than 45.5 when I was aiming at 44 - 44.5) so you need to be mindfull of shaft length when trying to get the desired swing weight, just make sure you let Chris know what length you want then epon can work on the sw for you. Another thought is that many people mention the benefits of sending clubs to goodsie to get balanced and aligned and I would suggest this to be a good idea if you are looking to find the middle more often. With all this talk of the epon I might have to look at it! although I battle the ball going right not left. vineman
  8. TSG member EPONfreak is also the WA dist/retailer of Epon and between him and clubmaxx there could even be a demo available. Pricing is the same the world over I believe. Vineman
  9. Skipper if you are considering the crazy as a driver shaft does that mean you don't like the Quadra in the driver? Can you tell me how the quadra launches? Also which part of Aus are you in? Vineman
  10. Always pays to be aware of ebay and other auction sites, as always if the price is too good to be true then it is fake but they are getting smarter and pricing there stuff at close to real and people are getting ripped off. Mate of mine bought a whole set of R9 with bag and scotty putter "brand new" for $1100, 4 rounds in and driver has come loose! My idea is to buy from retailers to start which keeps the industry going then from a few guys either in person or on bst it may cost you a few bucks extra but you are getting value for your money! Vineman
  11. Hey Spoon how did you find the flight and launch of the 15? obviously the shaft didn't suit but was it easy to get off the ground? I am tossing up between 15 and 17, I usually can't hit 15's very well and have been using an 18 cobra pro but the idea of having a 15,18 and 22 in the bag appeals. Thanks Vineman
  12. Hey Supo, wish I had your arsenal and access to all this equipment (TSG aside) will have to keep saving and move to Tokyo! Thanks for all the info on shafts and clubs it does help the rest of us, can you let us know what your swing speed and physical dimesions are so we can get a bit of a baseline for comparison. Thanks Vineman
  13. Thanks guys for your help, will PM Gocchin
  14. Hi guys, I have a scotty cameron studio stainless newport 2.5 which I would like to get given the GF treatment with PZ milling, maybe a 10gram weight in both the heal and toe with a soft black finish. My problem is I can't speak/write/read Japanese and the internet translator's are not working too well for me. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction? Thanks vineman
  15. Hi Stickman, I would have thought that the GN502 Tour (2010 version) would have been a better comparison to the 302 more along the same lines with a similar target audience. The TR500 is pretty much a blade and would be closer to the epon blade. Just a thought, would be interested in any comparison's or comments about this? Vineman
