  1. People consistently say that Jbean and Maxima go the furthest. With USGA rules being what they are... what's the reason for the extra distance gained from these clubs?
  2. I use a 2011 Maruman conductor. It cost $175 brand new still in the shrink wrap. The club is automatic. Just brush the grass with it. It's 14.5º so it's a little stronger than normal, but not any less easy to hit. It's endo forged, and has the classic feel of the club face catching the ball - that I love about JDM clubs. There isnt one on ebay, probably because its so good, people refuse to take it out of their bag. There's are a lot of the 2008 version on ebay. I wouldn't waste a cent on those.
  3. Use a distance golf ball. If your swing is a lot slower then maybe a lower compression ball would fit you well.
  4. I have an 8 year old driver. I recently tried the titleist D2. one is a pro driver the other is more game improvement. The longest drive with each were exactly the same. 292yards. One carried further, the other had more roll out. The game improvement club was about 15 yards less offline. So, for me - old and new max out the same. The D2 had a longer average, by 8 yards.
  5. They already make drivers that are a lot longer. They just don't conform to the USGA/R&A rules. What's so annoying about Taylormade releasing a new driver every 6 months. What's the point? They might as well space things out. Recent rule changes regarding clubs has only gotten more strick over the last 5 years.
  6. How was your abilty to shape the ball with this club? specifically a cut/fade The Ping G30 SF tec has a similar heel weight that turns a draw into a 70 yard hook, and a slice in a straight pull.
  7. It is. First 18 hole course I ever played. in the late 90s it was only $20 for an 8am tee time.
  8. What course(s) did you play in Monterey?
  9. Good Question. I'm wondering the same thing
  10. I'm watching a video on the new Vizard shafts, and they're mentioning "pull style" can someone explain to me what that is? Seems to be related to slower swing speeds.
