I may have started a topic like this a few years ago but I can't remember. Anyway, what's your all-time best performing driver and shaft, fairway and shaft, hybrid and shaft, iron and shaft, wedge and shaft, putter and shaft, grips, ball, etc? I'll start it off. Runner up - Tourstage 709MC Shaft - Nippon Modus 3, 120TX. Wedges - Epon X - Copper Runner Up - 2016 Seven Shaft - Nippon WV Putter - Bettinardi Japan MC-2 Shaft - No idea. Grip - Iomic I-Classic Mid Ball - Bridgestone B330 Grips - Elite Y360S M58 & Nowon Ichi

Great feel! Straight and I'd say mid spin, mid launch. Great feel!

GDP9003X is a classic. One of the all-time best. I play the original Diamana X. Hard to miss with it. There are lower spinning and launching shafts though. Aldila 125msi is very low spin and launch. There are a few new Aldilas that are being tested over on Golfwrx... supposed to be very low/low. The Hazerdus black? is supposed to be super low launch and spin. Mitsubishi Tensei White and Kuro Kage Dual Core XT (tour only right now) are supposed to be two of the lowest spin and launch shafts of all time. So many quality shafts out there today. I've given up. Oh ya... Veylix Rome is another. Quadra, like Stew said... some of my all-time favorite shafts as well. I play Mitsubishi shafts exclusively now. I think they feel nice, perform as good as any and look great. I can't be bothered spending more time looking into it.

I have the demos now. Beautiful. Unlike any irons I've seen. Nothing more to add here. These reek of quality... not unlike my farts. My initial carpet tests against an ottoman yesterday were VERY positive. Tonight I hit them off some s**tty turf in my garage. Very echoey sound which also affects feel. I'm not the greatest ball striker in the world (thin) but the ones I did pure were extremely unique. Two things stood out: These feel like nothing I've hit. It's almost a dense spring. Not sea sponge like Epon, not cottage cheese with chives like Mizuno, not unmelted candle wax like Miura. These are like rubber on the rocks. Hard to explain but very satisfying. The ball definitely sticks to the face longer than any iron i've hit, or at least it feels that way. Off center hits are indeed softer than other irons, too. I'm going to take them to the range this week for further evaluation. So far I'm really impressed! Thanks Chris.

I have the 302s, the P2s, the Onoff Kuros and MB-5003s and would love to compare these to them. Can I have a spot on that list as well?

The shaft game is out of control. There used to be a handful of brands you could count on for solid, consistent technology and performance. Now there's a new shaft company every week promising a breakthrough. It's not even fun anymore. It's stupid.

Bahahahah! It's true. This thing is the lowest launching and spinning thing ever. It's ridiculous. This and the 430 SLDR from 3-4 years ago.

Bend profile is low spin, low launch.

ZY-11 is sold as are all the weights, sorry. Hasn't been tipped, no. 8.7 is prob between an X and XX. Not sure on the length but I'm 6'4" and play my fairway 43" and it feels easily long enough for me.

I read this article on WRX, too. Interesting. I definitely love the look of them. $2000 is out of the question but if it's not for you, I imagine it would be a fun, educational experience.
