  1. I agree, i can't comment on the exotic shafts but the 905r head is way better than the D1/D2. I can't help thinking these were launched as gimmicks to retain a foot hold in the fast moving Driver market so as to having something new along side Callaway, Ping and all the other Square, hex scooped back and other funny shaped marketing dreams.
  2. I have just got hold of a Mizuno TP Mills no.4 putter and i am struggling to find out any information on these flat sticks. I have been on the TP Mills website...but this only covers his handmade specials and collectable Spaldings.....nothing about Mizzy TP's. I would like to know when and where they were manufactured, where they were available and approximate volume produced? Also if anyone has a TP putter cover they wish to sell.....please contact me. Pictures to follow shortly. Many thanks. FF
  3. Mmmmm.....at the moment i would take the 6 strokes.....but that's probably my answer because i already have all the golf equipment i want at present. If i didn't already have my choice of gear......i'd pick some shiny new golf toys please!
  4. Mmmmm what's the stimp on that carpet looks about 10 - 10.5 ??????????
  5. Amen Blader X.......i couldn't agree more!!!......you forgot to mention....annoys our Missus too!
  6. Corky is spot on!......you have to do a little guess work as to what type of wedge situation you will find yourself in most often? It would be impossible to cover every eventuality, so on top of a pitching wedge some carry a gap wedge and a lob wedge (personally i use both from bunkers depending on height of lip and amount of green between me and flag). As for bending i have had my 54 degree wedge turned back to 53 and this has reduced the bounce by 1 degree just right for me.
  7. 1. Guiness extra cold 2 Heineken Export. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Beer!
  8. Just a thought......but how far do you need to hit it??? By your swing speed i am guessing you already hit it a long way, would a ball that offered you more control be a better choice???......unless of course your competing for long driving champion!!!!....lol. Just out of curiosity how far do you drive on average???
  9. Jack your right.....when i get home i'm going to tell her that the tour bag and contents will be joining us in the bedroom!!! Unless of course she knows how to repair my 9 iron!!!!
  10. lol....dead right Redhaze! There would be no point in club manufacturers spending money having big name tour players use there equipment or bundles of cash on advertising if Joe Public wasn't interested in buying there products because he believed he wasn't good enough to use them! So what if the guy plays of 20 but wants the same gear as Sergio......good luck to him, and i hope he enjoys his 9.5/10.5 degree driver.
  11. Zuno irons and Ping wedges....dont you find the Pings lacking feel compared to your irons????????
  12. Mizunoooooooooooooooooooo!......lovely.....i could sit and stare at there irons all day! No wonder a round takes 6 hours!!!!!!
  13. That Bettinardi is a work of art......Luke Donald is a massive fan...... i can see why!
  14. I'm loving this set......and my name stamped on the irons....nice!
  15. I fear i already know the answer......but here goes anyway. I have chipped a lump (half the size of my little finger nail) out of the leading edge of my 9 iron (MP33's) and to my horror found out Mizuno have discontinued them! Is there anyway of repairing this club (crossing fingers and praying). I would rather have totalled my car than done this to my club!!!.....the Mrs has her suspicions that i think more of my golf equipment than her........sssshhhhh dont tell her!
  16. Lamkin crossline full cord for me. Not a fan of round though....i have to have the .580 rib with 2 layers of tape.
  17. God i love those 33's.......and they will be mine!
  18. Man!......that is a goooooooood looking wedge!
