  1. Buy them now. Soon it won't be your money anymore, it'll be "our" money. See what I'm saying?
  2. Don't know but I've been thinking about it for about a month now. Can't wait to see what Chris can find.
  3. Thanks Chris. I guess I'll just have to find out for myself this year if all goes well. Just trying to learn a little until then.
  4. Ok, looking at the 701's sole and the fact that the tungsten weight is added to it, I'm assuming the ball flight is somewhat high. I was thinking of putting some black golds in R flex on them. Black Golds from what I understand a low trajectory shaft. My question is with this head/shaft combo, what kind of flight would you expect to have?
  5. $15.00 additional on Epons regardless of whether they are the USDM or JDM version. Or are you referring to just the US version? Thanks in advance Chris.
  6. Just out of curiosity, did the JDM Black Golds cost significantly more than the USDM version when you had Chris install them. I know the Black Golds on the 701's is an additional $90, what about your JDM version? Also, what flex of the BG's are you trying with the 701's??
  7. Good idea, I really don't like the feel of them. The distance is great, but I really just don't get that smooth satisfying feel when you flush it. Maybe it is more forgiving because almost every shot feels the same, but I really enjoy a pure feel when you hit it the sweet spot just right and I feel that these just don't have it. Just curious how the 701's feel since I hear they are not forged like the rest of the Epon line. I'd love to swing the 301's but due to studies, I feel my game just isn't on par to consider these clubs quite yet. Also just curious how forgiving someone would rate the 701's compared to the R7's and just overall how easy they are to perform with.
  8. OK, I know this is a JDM site. But I'm currently in law school and just can't afford to plop money down to try new equipment as I'd like. Has anyone out there hit the USDM TM R7's?? Those are currently what I hit and just don't seem to like them all that much. I was wondering if any of you, maybe Chris could compare them to the Epon 701's. I'd really like to give Epon a try but want to see how they compare to what I'm already swinging. Thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks for the quick reply Chris, thought those clubs would be more next year instead of near future. I appreciate you clearing that up. Oh and thanks for another teaser. You guys kill me with these photos. Hopefully someday we'll finally get to meet up to fit me for a set.
  10. Beautiful driver Chris. While I'm at it, a few weeks ago I asked about anything new possibly being released by Epon before 08. You mentioned something big coming soon. Just curious if that was the new copper finish on the wedges or something else to look forward to in the near future? Thanks in advance.
  11. OK, so I don't post much. Just like reading your guys opinions and looking at all these gorgeous pics of the new JDM gear. Anyways, if I remember correctly Chris or T mentioned that Epon would be making possibly putters and hybrids in the upcoming future. I'm just curious what kind of timeline there is on those products. Will we see them in a few weeks since Epon has already shown their new drivers, FW's, irons and wedges. Or is this more of a Christmas early next year project?? Thanks for your responses. And Chris, as soon as I finish up this nasty law school thing. I'm giving you a call buddy.
