    very cool, thanks.
  2. the first 2 are pretty ridiculous...but i gotta admit, the last idea ain't all that bad. how many people have you seen walking around the course with a huge head and an ill-fitted cap? i kinda like the idea actually.
  3. have you hit the new j33 chris? how would compare the sound/feel to, say, something like a tm 510tp?
  4. Aluminium sleve/shim. Don't ask me why they put that thing in there. They might try to make a clubmaker harder to reshaft. IMO, An experience one should have no problem w/ it. It's just took more patient and skill to do it. joe  easy for you to say!!
  5. great pics joe. you ever find out what that ring or sleeve thingy is in the borethru?

man, i knew i read somewhere here a few months ago chris saying that at least one of the new bridgestone us offerings was basically going to be an x-blade cb. i guess he was right again.
  7. to me, $500 seems like a pretty good deal considering you are having one of the most well known putter designers of all time make you a totally custom putter. i remember hearing his shop is somewhere in al. wonder if he lets you come into the shop and get fitted personally
  8. very sweet. if you don't mind me asking, where'd you get it and how much?
  9. The main difference is the head of the TP sets up square. Besides the shaft and the weight kit. The Retail R7 sets up closed. As far as the shaft. That's up to you and your fitter. you mean the retail tp sets closed as opposed to the tour tp? just making sure cuz it sounds like you're comparing the tp r7 to the normal retail r7.
  10. anyone else notice the size of the hotmelt injection port? that is huge!

recently demoed some i-302's and gotta say they were very nice...for the right player. i think they're geared more towards people who tend to take large divots looking for good feel with adequate forgiveness and minimal offset. they really do feel as good as most other forged cavity backs i've tried. for reference, i play cobra ss forged irons. the 302's seem to just straddle the line of player's cavity and game improvement irons. if i wasn't so satisfied with my cobras, i'd snap up a set of 302's in a heartbeat.

Guess, you mean the AD333. That's a 2 piece ball. The prototype ball the Pro's are using, Davies, Jiminez &Co., is not been released yet. Believing the Srixon website it will be released in April. Too bad the UR-X didn't make a good first impression. Hope you got more luck with it in Vegas. haribo actually, the prototype he's talking about is called the hr-x 333. the ad 333 is basically just the replacement for their old hi-spin line...a good ball but hardly their top dog.

$45 in TO haribo means about $50 here , still that is a pretty good price . If they get here before the season starts :) Now if I like them and I can play them I just might have a new ball to play this year :D Yeah, I'm thinking the same. Like the Pro V1 (don't like the X). Got a feeling I gonna love the HX Tour (was a big fan of the old Rule 35, but never tried any of the other Callaway balls) but if the URX is on the same level as these two, I don't have a problem saving myself 15 -20 bucks for the dozen. haribo it's strange the urx's go for so cheap up there. here in st. louis, the urx's are going for the same price as the x's, and the hx tours are going for a few $'s less.
