  1. Guys breaking up the combo, can do head only.
  2. If anyone has this let me know thanks
  3. Not a good comparison, those are blades And the 502s are cavity backs . Cupcakes and marshmallows
  4. you obviosuly are leaning towards the onoff:) go for it.
  5. if you get sick of that one let me know. been wanting to try that one as well
  6. i would like to try their 48* wedge! on my next set i will drop my pw altogether and try this one
  7. one shaft will not work for everyone. boils down to feel. the modus has every bit of everything and more imho. works for me and although softer to Flex compared to its US counterparts i am very happy with it. although i should have gamed the X flex, i welcome the softer S for where i am at today. @Potuna, yeah you should try the X. the S is more like an SR shaft. i assure you the X will play like a different animal, tighter, lower spin guaranteed
  8. well to be honest not much more difficult. slightly less forgiving but not that much. as idrive mentioned if you can hit the onoffs you can defintely play the 302s, you will get used to it. many many users have switched from 502s to 302s without problems.
  9. Yeah ive seen that shaft but it never interested me. the only thing in the quadra stable i would game is the proto and the new max WBQ out of curiosity
  10. i find the Tour ads to be very elastic. i mean this in a positive way. sometimes i prefer the Tour ads over the 80t super high end shaft offerings. Has a distinct elastic feel and powerful thumpy kick. DI7, DI8, DJ7 , 9003 etc etc. as for the 80t models, i have tried fex 75, fex proto 75, crazy noir 7.7 etc etc. they have a distinct almost glassy feel with a sharp kick. boils down to preference, budget and flight characteristics. now you ad boron to the choices and i will pick full boron anyday:)
  11. if you are open to other models i suggest the 302s. they are not as difficult as you think. they are soft and have feel. i prefer these to the 502 by heaps.
  12. You referring to the FEX proto? I had that shaft Loved it but love my stinger more.. Was referring to the max WBQ quadra Shaft
  13. I haven't touched my modus in over a year. They have cured My chronic addiction o steel shafts. My next set will be blades And they will be shafted with modus as well.
  14. i dont see how they could have improved on the proto. but that steel reinforced tip would make it more stiff tip thereby reducing spin. im interested already!
  15. Just saw this in the proshop. not really interested in any other brand of shafts and this quadra has caught my attention. any details on this and the difference between the Proto? http://www.tourspecgolf.com/Quadra-Fire-Express-Max-WBQ-Driver-Shaft that metal fiber tip in the 75 series really really interests me. if i get another driver this will defintely be the shaft i would shaft it with.
  16. wow you have a good one. laphroaig and lagavulin are my top two single malts of all time. they are from the islay region. smoky and peaty! you will love it!
  17. At some point you just have to decide for yourself. Unless you try everything you will never know. Unless you Are stew! Sure their could be a shaft better than the one I have but Vie made a decision to stick with my current shaft becausenit works. Il change it when I'm bored.. I don't have a wandering eye with Shaftsthank God
  18. Yup! I always had this picture in my mind of the cavity Being filled with super viscous silicone with the consistency Of rubber sealant
  19. Strong grip with slightly open face also helps me get into the slot On the backswing. I will deliberately open the club more. That's what I Was doing with the O all day and it made it easier to turn te club over
  20. Very cool indeed. Can u ask sasaya San about the gel? Always been curious about the supposed A-alpha gel used. Was it gooey or silicone like?
