  1. Hey c is the cb forged in endo as well? Why did they choose zodia or the mbs?
  2. I have never seen this yamada before. Not in any of their catalogs. You got something special there. Let us know how it performs
  3. Ok how about we compare the above to the mythical stinger? Thats something Vie been wanting to try as well. C
  4. Like your analogy, that a why I took out the covers. Can't wait for the sheen to vanish. In 2o years they will still look good.
  5. Very very nice. Thats how I want mine to look down the road. Mine is still glossy and has the dark glossy Purplish sheen. Those technity wedges are superb. Surprised your still gaming them. Btw dint even know you had the coppers are they your main gamers?
  6. Referring to the p9003x . The p in only in x and 80grams My current tamer is 9003s 74gram in. 380 head. Don't know if its the Shaft, head, or both so not gointothe o touch this anymore I however want to match this combo in a similar epon 360 , I'm leaning On the FEX proto as I don't think il see gains with the p9003 might Actually be detrimental as it may be a too aggressive jump in flex. Also the 9003 is a darn good shaft, those who say it's low launch don't have the Ss to use it, it's actually mid to high , sper low low spin w lots of roll. Blader, thanks man you've answered all of my questions, appreciate the lengthy Explanation. Sometimes when we find the perfect club we get tempted to replicate it with Something superior only to find the opposite. Not touching my 380. I just hope the 360 can live up to big brother
  7. i guess your right. the quest for the golfing unicorn! quite familiar with the proto but 65 series is just way too light ruins my transition. need something heftier. on the contrary i was hitting my 380 on the screws, hit marks were all in the center, i can play it better than my 102 460. my bad shots were mild hooks and thin shots that would run for miles but straight. the 460 i was spraying all over the place but i attribute this mainly to the lighter shaft. or i can just get the fex 75s proto and that would be the end of it. or might even put the 75s proto in the 380 and put the 9003 in the 360. the 102 fex proto combo is being sold as we speak.
  8. well i got an aha moment with buildling my 380cc. opened a pandoras box of further tweaks. now i know i will only do this with a sub 400 head building a short driver 44.5 on my 360cc head. im thinking a DI8 or a p9003. currently gaming the GD 9003 S on my 380cc head at 45" and find the weight alright but can handle another 5-8 grams the shaft is in the 75g series but cut weight to play 45 is around 68grams the weight of the P9003 is perfect but the x flex scares me and its specified for 115-120mph, im around 108 now. so my options are the DI8 or p9003. any suggestions? i was going to consider the di7 but it will weigh lighter than my current 9003 as both shafts uncut are 78 grams. how much stiffer is the di8 compared to the di7? thanks or am i wasting time and money and go quadra proto 75s? sorry no crazies invited:)
  9. thought id share more pics, they are getting better with age, no more covers , dont mind the streaks from the wet rag. they are so difficult to take a proper photo of it. 4iron 8 iron
  10. no worries, its fine and thank you:) im actually looking for more of these little buggers! i dont know the weight of the head but weight of the cut shaft is 71 grams, around 75 grams raw. playing at 45" d2 swingweight. the heavier club has smoothened by tempo. i used to game 75x shafts and 130x irons but after my back injury last year i have taken it down a notch, now that i am ok i am somewhat reorienting myself with the heavier clubs. i am using 115gram modus3 shafts, 70ish driver, and am pulling my 65 wood shaft in favor of a 70+ gram shaft. key for me is to feel the club in the transition. this is the magic position and finding a club with the correct static weight is key to getting in the right slot with the most normal tempo. i dont beleiving in alternating your tempo to suit the clubs its vice versa. i also believe in static weight more than swing weight. as much as swingweight on paper works i find that it is nearly not as important as static weight imho. many many factors to consider and SW one of them but not the most important. thats why after i get my clubs built only things i want to know are static weight and cpm. when i swing it and it feels good thats it. if fallen prey many times to the trap of finding out that the perfect club was only c9-d0 and would operate on it to make d2-d3 only to ruin the clubs feel. just my 2 cents
  11. i have never hit a combo that just demolished an existing club out of the bat. the smaller head and heavier shaft just rock! im so tempted to tinker with the 102 and get a 75+ crazy or quadra but it will be another black hole of expenses:) 3 of my clubs now are pimping graphite design, driver, 3 wood and tour ad DI 95s on my RC hyrbid. fyi GD was my ultimate favorite shaft before i ventured into the quadra 80Ts. i may put the 360 cc into play soon. that head is enjoying itself too much on the shelf
  12. i just moved to a 380cc older epon. it just blows all my drivers out of the water in feel and distance. not so deep but man does it go and is soft. i guess this is the characteristic feel of smaller more compact heads. they certainly should do a revival of the smaller heads
  13. got my wedges today, i have never been this excited about a golf club in a long long time. they look very very good most especially the laser milled grooves, the look on address in pics dont do the club justice. i am still not used to the dent back cavity but im sure it serves a purpose the metal looks greyish, almost like titanium or adamantium:) will take these for a spin tomorrow. not sure if i will leave the stock s200 shafts or reshaft with my DG spinners. here are a few pics
  14. I'm a newbie to crazy having bad experiences with shafts that were too Stiff for my own good. What do you reckon is closest in flex, weight to the Proto 75s and the gd9003? The 9003 is a low spin cannon in my 380 head
  15. Had my first round with the combo today. Holy smokes!!! This is by far the longest driver combo I have ever hit. Damn Forgiving too for a 380 this blows all my previous drivers out Of the water. The 9003 shaft has smoothened my combo and I am easily Outdriving my best 102 drives by at least 15 yards consistently. Know that feeling when your further than any drive you've been In the local course? No getting familiar stage, off the bat it worked. No desire to replicate the shaft success w the 102. Was thinking of Getting the proto65s pulled and installing a 75s but whats the point, I'd be too greedy to do that as my new club just excels. It feels loads better And the shaft is no slouch either. I have stuck to my 102 for 2years, in one day I just found something that outperforms it. Scary to think of the red devil with a quadra proto 75
  16. That stiff it better go dead straight. The worms on your Course should relocate. Seriously though your happy with this shaft? Top of the tops In your bag of quivers?
  17. Simon just sold me the head. I'm not gaming the 380 not the Burl 360.
  18. thats the spirit! have white in my "other" set
  19. funny you would ask this as i have posted a ton of questions about this in other forums. i have the tour ad md6 in my 3 wood and i find it too light. has a nice mid trajectory and mid spin. being the tinkerer i am changing it to a heavier shaft. i was thinking DI or DJ but after doing my research i decided on the quattrotech green as it is tip kick so i get the higher launch i desire while keeping it mid-high spin. but to those who have played it in their 3ws the quattrotech has less spin than advertised and is much more stable than the DJ which was originally my first choice.
  20. just the finish. no they will not wear. they are the same finish as the epon 208 copper finished wedges
  21. yup. flex is fine but having problems with my transition. having to slow down my tempo which is really unnatural. Ive regained most of my strength back post injury.
  22. Will most certainly do. Playing this at 45 d2 265 cpm. Did not want to play it too stiff, also did not want to Tip the shaft, cut the butt only. Had it spines and playing The shaft spine at 6ocklock for maximum distance. Could Have optednfor 3 oclock for accuracy but that's just boring. Will be playing Tom and if this one works, I'm pullingbthe FEX proto 65s and getting the 70s for my epon
  23. Thanks shambles! Coops, I hace scoured Bangkok none to be had. I liked the yonex but it felt tingy , now this 380 Is one of the softest feeling drives you will ever find. Soft and springy is what I like to describe it. Something like he old technicity zr but softer and more compact feeling. Ultimate 380 compact true pear shaped ballistic cannon. Thanks to gio who shipped it all the wAy From the Uk for me. This used to be GOcchin's many many seasons ago.
