  1. head or shafted. let me know. i feel like this is the last piece of the puzzle. thanks
  2. they dont sell heads only. unless you get used. yes its a current release. i cant imagine them improving further on this model. its perfect.
  3. here are pics of my dads 702s. ive inspected the heads and they are fine with me. the delineation of the ridges in the cavity are fine and done tastefully in my opinion. they have a natural progression that just adds depth. no quality issues for me
  4. ok i got my dads combo set as he just got his epon 702s. i got the 502 5-7 and 302 7-pw but also have an extra aftour pw bent to 47* from my onoff set. all are shafted with spined dgs300. check out the 4 iron in the back, af702 can pass of as a nice driving iron:) also ditched the egg and gave it to my wife in favor of the yamaha inpresx v 14* also bagging the axis1 putter. hopefully it will get replaced by a Gold's factory tuned putter soon.
  5. oh boy your in trouble kabayan! once you have a taste of jspec gear its hard to turn back. for me one of the hottest softest feeling drivers i have ever tried is the epon 102, my current gamer and i have not even ventured into deeper more exotic waters such as the jbeam and ryoma. those two are currently on my two shopping lists for late this year but leaning towards the ryoma. and dont forget the shafts, quadra, crazy as they will make the experience uber enjoyable. take your time and do learn from all the members from the site, we were all jspec newbies at one point but the force is strong in the dark side. the egg is for sure better than whatever you are currenly gaming. let me know how that proto shaft feels
  6. if that stinger was an s i would be all over the shaft. had the x and found it a bit stout. those are really good prices pete, this wont last long. good luck with sale.
  7. 16, 18, 20, 23 for the yonex not sure about the fourteen. from those that hit both in the golfshow the fourteen is the easier of the two to hit. also the 14 is much more reasonably priced compared to the yonex.
  8. i am looking at the 9.5 premia V spec .5-1* open. hopefully i get the oppurtunity to get one in the next couple of months. im really intrigued with the way the head was engineered and how they were able to enlarge the sweetspot, trampoline effect while making everything conforming. its amazing how hey engineered the head. Seems like a no brainer
  9. nice shafts i am actually looking for the f7m2 in stiff. would have gotten it at that price. good luck with sale, your stuff looks very clean!
  10. i like it but agree with the body kit. my all time favorite MB is the clk dtm
  11. if you dont get the jbeam i may be interested
  12. wow that is very good looking. like the offerings of tourstage but i like the yonex better:) whats the retail of this club and what is the stock shaft?
  13. do what you have to do but if your having to make changes just to make the club work then your going out of your comfort zone if that happens just ditch it. use your natural swing and if it works fine with the miuras and kyoeis then its obviously the club. your the ultimate judge mate.
  14. the jbeams are very well known for their long driving attributes. i have a lot of japanese friends locally who swear by these heads, usually shafted with an ultralight shaft played at 46" i consider these very exotic and have been wanting to try these for the longest time. @skip, good combo with the quadra protox. let us know how it goes. that has the potential to be a bazooka on roids
  15. are you basing it on pics? i have the actual heads and they are not bad. they look better in person and the cavity is a greyish satin almost bead blasted, lots of grain and texture and everything else is dull satin with the exception of the center of mass in the cavity which is shinier. i find this to be better looking and better made compared to the 701.
  16. i have shafted two sets already, i will post pics, watched one of my guys hit it in the range and there are significant differences compared to the 701. will post feedback next week.
  17. as i said doesnt matter. look at what epon does, all their materials are from japan and were assembled and forged in Endo japan and they used the slogan "japan forged" when they moved some of their assembly and forging outside japan they changed it to "Endo Forged". There are labeling laws like this in the USa that are strictly enforceable. i dont have a problem with how yonex is labeling their product but others might
  18. that is good advice for me as i am nowhere near the ball striking of stew. hes a 2 cap or something:) plays in a variety of conditions in japan and links hardpan surfaces down under. so he gets to play in a lot of surfaces.
  19. it may change the sw but not drastically, depends though how much they grind off:) the heads are slightly heavier anyway due to the added plating of the head. better observe your best ball striking irons and compare the sole to the 302s. although the more aggressive route, i dont suggest this option unless you are dead certain you want to be gaming these.
  20. would you say that endo's proprietary VL titanium face is superior over what yonex is currently using(SP700HM rolled titanium ) not that it matters to me but you cannot label asa made in japan and country origin of japan when in fact made in china and assembled in japan . very misleading
  21. just leave em in japan and make that your set for the lush courses. courses in japan are in those pristine conditions all year round anyway and have one of your kyoeis or kenimochis down under. that way you get to keep the 302s. unless of course you find someone capable enough to custom grind the sole
  22. great put me on the list when it gets back to our side. thanks T!
